Textile group creates bedding committee

The National Textile Association has formed a Textile Bedding Committee comprising of Dan River Inc., Springs Industries and West Point Stevens. The committee is opposing the American Home Fire Security Act and working on a mandatory flammability regulation for textile bedding.

Rentway agrees to settle lawsuit

Rent-Way has reached a deal to settle a class-action lawsuit which alleged that the company faked financial statements. The company agreed to a settlement of $25 million, pending federal court approval.
