The Barns-Brinton house

Article Abstract:

The 18th-century Barns-Brinton House in Chadds Ford, PA, is an architectural treasure largely for its fine patterned masonry and exquisite woodwork. Built by William Barns in 1714, the part-tavern, part-house has an original wall of double-beaded boards separating the inn from the living area.

A two-story, two-century log house

Article Abstract:

Jack and Ruth Spotts live in a two-story log house that was built in two parts. One part was built in 1740, the other in 1804. The house is located in Berks Country, PA, and is filled with antique American furniture and decorations which the couple loves to collect.

1764 Pennsylvania stone house

Article Abstract:

Frank and Yvonne Harriau McConkey's old stone house in southern Pennsylvania is believed to have been built in 1764. Antiques collected by the couple lovingly decorate the house's every corner while classic herbs and blooms dot its extensive gardens.
