U.S. furniture exports grow 6% in first half

Article Abstract:

According to the United States Department of Commerce, the exports of furniture exports has raised to 6% in this first half of 2005, slower growth rate than 2004. The relevant statistical data regarding the U.S. furniture exports by major destination countries and product category, in January-June 2005 are discussed.

Parts drive 9% growth in U.S. furniture exports

Article Abstract:

US furniture exports has shown a 9% growth in the 1st six months of 2004, which three of the top four categories of exports were of furniture parts. The parts that get exported, return as finished furniture as production of furniture moves elsewhere.
