Santa Fe: beyond adobe

A traditional house in the historic part of Santa Fe, New Mexico gets a treatment by architects who preserve the old charm of the space and bring new visions for decorating the interior. Wooden staircases and Native American objects give the house an artistic, yet homey feel.

Gluckman resigned a Baptist mission to house the new Georgia O' Keefe Museum. The New York architect selected colors and textures that O'Keefe used in her home and paintings. Types of flowers O'Keefe often painted grow in one building's courtyard.
