120,545 pounds sterling compensation where victim of sex discrimination suffers major depressive disorder

Article Abstract:

The judgment in Walker v Phones 4 U Ltd, case no.2603114/03 is discussed. Mrs. Walker, an area sales manager with the respondent, suffered a major depressive disorder after the management ignored her complaints on series of unwelcome sexual attention. The tribunal gave a total award of 120,545 pounds sterling in this case.
