A rough guide to shopping

Article Abstract:

Many accidents on public walkways in the United Kingdom occurs due to the inappropriate selection of flooring and footware. Hard surfaces are designed for their appearance and durability, and not for their anti-slip or grip potential. Contaminants such as water and lubricants are often the cause of accidents such as these, and any spillages should be removed from the area as quickly as possible to minimise the risk potential. Flooring materials can be tested for anti-slip and contamination analysis using specialised instruments.
