Chemical Essentials

Article Abstract:

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the Environment Agency and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency and the Environment and Heritage Service, Northern Ireland has developed the chemical essentials concept. Chemical Essentials would enable organizations that are working with chemicals to get online advice on how to protect people as well as the environment and the advice provided would be in "plain English" with minimum technical terms.

Keep the noise down

Article Abstract:

The Noise and Work Regulations 1989 is replaced by another Noise and Work Regulation that would be adopted in the United Kingdom by February 15, 2006. The proposed Noise and Work Regulation requires an assessment of noise levels, an elimination of risks at source or reduction to minimum, appropriate health surveillance, and a limit on personal noise exposure.
