SAS's cost-cutting programme aims to bolster competitiveness

The cost reducing efforts of Scandinavian Airlines System by increasing working time and reducing pay and the agreements with Swedish cabin crew, are presented. The airline has restructured its organization as it was facing competition from low-cost airlines.
