In November 1994, the Suzy Lamplugh Trust published 'Violence and Agression at Work: Reducing the Risks - Policy, Principles and Practice'. The guide includes an employers resources pack and training resources. Around 35,000 workplace crimes per year are reported, according to the British Crime Survey. Violence at work can affect morale, recruitment, image, and can produce high costs in absenteeism, compensation and insurance premiums.

Are You Hampered by Fear of Success?
Article Abstract:
A self-appraisal test is provided for determining whether fear of success is interfering with supervisor performance. Questions dealing with attitudes and feelings are rated. Answers are scored with explanations for each set of scores. Fear of success is defined as supervisors who are ambitious, but avoid competitive situations. The dynamics of fear of success are detailed.

The cultural equation for success

The success of a business can be gained through the right combination of a good leadership and a proper strategic plan. Hence, the equation to have success in the business, is to identify the aim of the company, chalk out a method how to proceed further to attain the goal, and finally maintain a check to see whether the things are moving as planned.
