Engaging mind, body, and spirit at work

Article Abstract:

The ways in which people bring their spirituality, or, for some, their faith to work are discussed and five basic models in which those values are acknowledged to varying degrees in business are outlined. It is believed that the movement toward greater spirituality or faith at work is a phenomenon created and driven by the baby boomer generation.

Social intelligence

Article Abstract:

Karl Albrecht, management consultant defines social intelligence as the ability to get along well with others and to get them to cooperate. His model uses a self-assessment tool to measure social intelligence as a combination of social skills, self-awareness, and interaction style, and helps participants select key areas for improvement.
