Forced labor of public employees in the United States: a note from the 2002 international labor conference

Article Abstract:

The supervisory committees of the International Labor Organization (ILO) found the American government to be in noncompliance with conventions it had ratified. Due to the government's defiant position the ILO committees stated that they would have difficulty in assessing the scope of the problem unless they receive direct help from American workers and their unions or associations.
