Measures to increase employment

Article Abstract:

The French President, Jacques Chirac in his nationwide address stated that creation of jobs would be top priority of the government in the year 2004 and he has instructed the Prime Minister to prepare a legislation to ensure job creation. The President was confident that the efforts would bear fruit while the Social affairs minister was looking at various options before submitting a draft proposal that will ease bottlenecks in the labor market.
