Italy has adopted a framework law for speeding up reform of the pension system. This law provides for enhancement of the age when an employee can retire on full pension linked to contribution levels, and encourages them to continue beyond their retirement date, along with the development of supplementary pension funds by automatically depositing the terminal allowances paid to the employee.

Article Abstract:

A critical analysis of the salient provisions in the new Austrian pension fund law is presented. The implications of the salient provisions of the new pension fund law are discussed and a comparison is drawn between old and new pension systems. The likely legal complications in view of decrease in future pensions are also discussed.
