Report from the Czech Republic: putting the country in context

Article Abstract:

Compensation packages in the Czech Republic are compared with countries within the (CEE) Central and Eastern Europe and Western Europe. Though market pressures and legal frameworks reflect on the compensation packages the gap in the salary structure between the CEE regions and Western Europe would reduce especially in the case of top and medium level officials.

Article Abstract:

The grouse of shareholders regarding the fabulous compensation packages provided to executives is not restricted to UK alone. The executive compensation issue can be addressed by communicating clearly with the investors. The fact that compensation is linked to performance also needs to be conveyed clearly to the investors.

For developing a global company having branches all over, it becomes necessary to form global senior management teams. Global and regional program design or the use of management leasing companies can be used to decide variations in total remuneration among the senior management team.
