The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is planning to make changes to the current requirements of the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR). The main aim of the HSE is to develop a system for improving reporting behavior in health and safety.

Managing asbestos

Article Abstract:

The devastating potential health effects from exposure to asbestos fibres are described. A description of the health and safety legislation, guidance and good practice, aimed at reducing the risk of exposure and disease due to asbestos is also discussed.
