Article Abstract:

Many corporations replace group term insurance for their top executives with individual insurance policies. There are a number of advantages to this strategy. For example, the employer can select the executives and the amount of coverage they will receive. The policies cannot be cancelled, and employees can continue the policies if they change jobs. A number of employer methods for financing such a plan are detailed, including an executive bonus plan, a death-benefit-only plan and a split-dollar plan.

A description is presented of the use of CT scanners and computers to produce an image of the skull of an Egyptian priestess without invading her coffin. The use of these techniques to clarify kinship between mummies is discussed.
