The American Land Title Assn is holding its 1993 Mid-Year Convention in Atlanta, GA from Mar 22 to 26. Educational sessions will cover new regulations under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, employee training, financial strategies, tax strategies and how to write and deliver a speech. Guest speakers include Catherine Crier of ABC News and Robert G. Lange of the NAIC Title Insurance Working Group.

Dazzling Dallas

The American Land Title Association held its 1995 Annual Convention in Dallas, TX. There were presentations on multi-state transactions, title automation, errors and omissions insurance, and other topics. Attendees enjoyed armadillo races, visits to historical sites, horses, Texas two-stepping, and barbecues.
