What companies are doing about child care

Article Abstract:

Several alternatives concerning child care are being tried by most of the country's business enterprises notwithstanding recession's ominous presence. Furthermore, employee compensation and benefit executives recognize various factors such as the women's growing presence in the labor force, increasing proportion of working parents in the company, more single-parent families and the population age trends. Such factors necessitate the establishment of employer-assisted child care which would work as a viable incentive for the employees.
