Forget September 11

Article Abstract:

The uses and problems of memory in relation to responses to September 11 is explored focusing largely on material from the USA and the Federal Republic of Germany illustrating that they might be better off forgetting September 11. The impacts of the September11 attacks are justified.

Keeping Central Asia stable

The intervention of USA in Central Asia after September 11, has changed the geopolitical potential in the area. The US policy is seen as attacking undemocratic regimes and practices as they combat Islamic terrorism.
