The Ethical Poverty Line: A moral quantification of absolute poverty

Article Abstract:

The Ethical Poverty Line (EPL) is derived by linking an analysis of world consumption to life outcome data which is taken from established health literature. The EPL can help one recognize how much is enough not just for the poor but also for the rich, which will help one see the world as consisting of under-developed, appropriately developed and over-developed countries.
