Towards a Palestinian state

Article Abstract:

A Palestinian state has come into being informally but its specifics need to be determined in future peace agreements between Israelis and Palestinians. Israel should adopt a generous attitude towards a Palestinian state, constraining only the exercising of its sovereignty and keeping military control of the larger settlements in the West Bank. A Palestinian state must have a full degree of independent authority if the special Israeli-Palestinian relationship is to survive.
