Article Abstract:

This article examines Africa's role in the illicit drug industry in which drug production, transit, and a consumer market is rapidly growing. The author, maintaining the political climate throughout Africa is a breeding ground for many different types of organized crime, argues the traffickers are often protected by corrupt politicians.
