Cal. appeals court say mandatory CLE is illegal; lawyers likely to skip future education sessions

Article Abstract:

A California appellate court has ruled in Warden v. State Bar that the state's mandatory continuing legal education program was a violation of attorneys' equal protection rights because of the program's exemption of legislators and law professors.
