Corel releases WordPerfect Suite for DOS

Article Abstract:

Corel's $495 WordPerfect 6.2 Suite for DOS provides worthwhile upgrades to version 6.1 that make WordPerfect slightly easier to use. Updates include Quattro Pro 5.6 and Presentations 2.1, a spreadsheet and a presentation graphics program, respectively. Shell 40c, WordPerfect 6.1 for Windows 3.1, ScreenExtender Special Edition, Editor 3.1, 125 TrueType fonts, Stairway Software's MergeMaster, 200 photos and over 10,000 clip art images are also added to the Suite. Editable Reveal Codes have been enhanced to allow users to insert specific values into dialogs. The Blocking feature has been improved to automatically delete all additional spaces between the last word in a sentence and the period once the user has blocked the last portion of the sentence and deleted the block. Corel's upgrade for WordPerfect 6.2 is priced at $149.
