Corporate legal structure, salary

Article Abstract:

A survey of corporate counsel compensation at 30 major companies including both 1991 salaries and 1992 bonuses is given. The companies are listed alphabetically. For most of the companies, the numbers come from the 1991 proxy statement. The categories under each company name are headquarters, type of company, 1991 assets, chief in-house legal officer, number of attorneys, legal positions with salaries, and organization. The legal positions are listed in the corporate hierarchy's descending order.
