Islamic ethics and the implications for business

Article Abstract:

A research on the effects of Islamic philosophy on business ethics was conducted with the aim to share the Islamic notion on business ethics and provide some concepts of Islamic philosophy which may help managers transact business internationally especially in Muslim countries. To illustrate this, the Islamic practice and philosophy in Egypt was discussed focusing on implications of its culture and social issues on international business.

Ethical theory in German business ethics research

Article Abstract:

The scope of ethical theory on business in the German academic discussions has extended to a certain level in quality and quantity. This is not so in the American and British contexts. Emerging concepts on business ethics need to be made known to the wider business community to enrich the international debate on the discipline, to be integrated in international studies and consequently further the discipline.
