Federal jurisdiction and procedure

Article Abstract:

Cases concerning federal jurisdiction and procedure decided by the US Supreme Court during the 1996 term are surveyed. Issues highlighted from the cases surveyed include certification requirements for class actions, Rule 403 of the Federal Rules of Evidence, and federal sentencing guidelines for taking into account conduct underlying acquittals.
