Rust-belt firm goes high-tech

Article Abstract:

Pittsburgh, PA law firm Buchanan Ingersoll has not confined itself to growth in staff, but has also revitalized its local market by contributing to high-technology initiatives that today make up an important part of Pittsburgh's economy. Outside board offers biz advice

Article Abstract:

Minneapolis law firm Fredrikson and Byron believes its installment of an advisory board with members from the business community will help the firm develop a strategic game plan and compete more effectively with other law firms and service organizations. This board functions as a sounding board rather than setting policy and it is hoped that this will make it less threatening.
