Hiding in plain site; the hunt for metatags on the Internet is changing the field of trademark law

Article Abstract:

The use of metatags in ways that violate trademark law is discussed. Metatags help direct users to wanted information, but violators have started placing metatags with their competitor's trademarks into computer code. How users can then be diverted to the unauthorized company's Web site is discussed.
