Lawyers move to disqualify judges; torture allegations spark move in Ill

Article Abstract:

An attempt to disqualify Illinois judges is discussed. The disqualification would keep these judges from hearing more of the cases concerning the controversy that then-Chicago police commander Jon Burge let policemen under him use methods in police questioning later charged by defendants as being torture.
