A new vision for the legal profession

Article Abstract:

Both the legal profession and legal education are in a state of turmoil, as law firms and law schools have lost their sense of vision. The attorney glut has created a litigious society, making huge revenues available to law firms. These firms should commit some of their profits to public service and place more emphasis on public service work. Law schools should provide an integrated curriculum and similarly encourage public service work.
