Ryan White CARE Act Title 4: building networks to improve healthcare delivery to the HIV infected

Article Abstract:

The Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency Act is best administered when interagency collaboration is highly developed and when care delivery is coordinated. Rates of women infected with HIV continue to grow, requiring the Lower New York Consortium for Families with HIV to share its experience in coordinating service delivery.

Trends in pediatric care and outcomes

Article Abstract:

The changes in access, quality of care and clinical outcomes were investigated in 624 HIV affected cases in the pediatric distress clinic of a large urban hospital between 1985 and 1999. The outcomes of pediatric care have steadily improved due to increased governmental support leading to clinical advances and coordination of care.

Ryan White CARE act Title IV programs: a preliminary characterization of benefits and costs

A preliminary description of Title IV clients is provided based on survey of lead agencies and the management and organization of Title IV projects are analyzed to look into the coordinated delivery of services.
