The impact of the "new penology" on ISP

Article Abstract:

Research indicates that supervision and resource allocation changes conceptualized by penology reforms have had little impact on intensive supervised probation. It is posited that while penology reforms are theoretically viable, they are less observable when translated into actual practice.
