Leading by example; U.S. handling of Cuban boy will influence foreign policy

Article Abstract:

Issues regarding the international child custody and political asylum issues presented by the Elian Gonzalez case are discussed. A federal district court ruling in Mar 2000 upheld Attorney General Reno's discretion to send the child back to Cuba. Somr vonservatives call the case international parental kidnapping and want Elian to be granted political asylum.

A description of the importance of home purchase before a purchase is closed is given. A qualified inspector can pinpoint structural problems which would cause the buyer much money and aggravation after the purchase is complete. The buyer should receive the inspector's report in writing, essential if the case ends up in court.
