Article Abstract:

Sophisticated technology-based courtroom presentations can play an important part in trial advocacy, augmenting fundamental themes and witness' testimony. Two courtroom presentation experts and a litigator, who are Ann Zdansky and Tracy Thoman, and Tim Perry, respectively, debate the benefits of presentations. For example, Thoman points out that research resulyts indicate that visually presented information is up to 650 times as effective as oral argument alone. Moreover, using computers in trials emphasizes organization and clarity, delivering an image of confidence and strength.
