The notion that technology is biased against the poor is erroneous. Although it is obvious that only the rich own costly innovative gadgets, the benefits of technology also serve the marginalized. The rich people are the driving forces behind favorable changes in the society that expedite the passage to market of modern products and services that otherwise would be delayed for years. The industrial revolution affects all people, whether rich or poor, in the long run.
