Many problems show up soon after installation, and a backup of the hard drive is essential as Windows 95's uninstall feature may not work. Tape backup drives, Award BIOS, and Novell groupware products are frequent sources of trouble. Word for Windows 95 may tempt many WordPerfect devotees to switch, and Windows 95 is a more stable operating system overall.
