You snooze, you lose!

Article Abstract:

Amicus Attorney and Time Matters are effective solutions for legal case management. Amicus Attorney has a straightforward interface that shows users only what they want to see, whereas Time Matters' powerful database is highly customizable for the advanced user. Despite these differences, both programs are well suited to experienced and novice users. It should be noted that no program is useful without pertinent data input from the user. An important difference between personal information managers such as Microsoft Outlook and true case management programs is the inclusion of the file/case/matter tracking feature. In addition to calendar and contact information, this added feature allows attorneys to sort the information they receive according to the matter they are searching.
