CEE telecommunications investment and economic growth

Article Abstract:

Analysis of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) telecom investments in relation to economic growth reveals that upgrading and extension of telecom networks should be prioritized by CEE leaders as this is directly related to economic growth. The study empirically determines the direction of influence and timing between investment and growth for a sample of CEE economies with results showing that there is still underinvestment in telecom infrastructure.
