Army to improve medium-weight tactical trucks

The United States Army's newest trucks promise to be more environmentally friendly and easier to operate than earlier models. Stewart and Stevenson Tactical Vehicle Systems has won a contract to build more than 11,000 of the newest Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles, an agreement potentially worth $2.3 billion.
