Carrier a long-term boon to Northrop Grumman

Article Abstract:

On Thursday, the U.S. Navy announced that it is giving Northrop Grumman a new and rescheduled aircraft carrier overhauling task. This will eventually mean increased funds going to Northrop Grumman Newport News shipyard. However, this will immediately mean a reduction in revenues of roughly $300 million.

Northrop to work on USS Minneapolis-St. Paul

Northrop Grumman Corp. has received a drydock contract for the U.S. Navy's nuclear-powered submarine, the USS Minneapolis-St.Paul. The contract is valued at $23 million.
