CD-ROM for training is wave of the future

Article Abstract:

The insurance industry can solve some of its agent training and retention problems by using CD-ROM interactive training systems. The industry has been plagued with high turnover, and training agents is time-consuming. By using CD-ROM training systems, the 10% learning retention that is common from reading or hearing can be increased, and agents can be trained in half the time it now takes. Interactive training allows trainees to control the pace and organization of the presentation, and avoids unnecessary repetition.
