Journalists tell Congress E-FOIA compliance has been inadequate

Article Abstract:

A congressional investigation of agency compliance with the Freedom of Information Act is discussed, and saw reporters as well as public interest groups testifying to the inadequacy of this compliance.

Civil rights suit not justified by temporary denial of records

Article Abstract:

The 6th Circuit ruled in Davidian v. O'Mara that a city's refusal to provide a journalist with records did not violate the journalist's civil rights and there was no evidence supporting a claim of retaliation for the story published.
