Terrorist watch: Gathering string, freelancers pays dividends after FBI raid

Article Abstract:

The U.S. Treasury Department designated the Islamic American Relief Agency, a religious charity in Colombia as a part of a global network of charities that had supported Osama bin Laden and a host of other regional and international terrorists. Hence the FBI-led task force raided the charity's Columbia's offices, carting off truckloads of computers and records.

IRE resources essential following terror attacks

Article Abstract:

The importance of IRE resources is shown, with respect to the hijacked commercial passenger jet that crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center. Reporters turned to IRE in the hours following the crash to help them add context to their breaking stories.
