Testosterone replacement: Beyond viagra to successful aging

Article Abstract:

Testosterone, the prometheus of the endocrine glands that enkindles life to both men and women is unjustly vilified and blamed for every illness is found to be vitally important for the heart, the brain and self. The aging population is flooded in estrogen and synthetic anti-androgens afflicted by one expensive quick fix cure after another and testosterone is finally being recognized having greater importance than 'natural Viagra'.

Hot-air ballooning through space: the promise of mini-magnetospheric plasma propulsion

Article Abstract:

An analysis of the possibilities of theories put forward by Robert Winglee, a geophysicist at the University of Washington, for sailing through space using solar wind as a method of propulsion. Under Winglee's proposals, dubbed Mini-Magnetospheric Plasma Propulsion, a spacecraft would generate a magnetic bubble around itself which would then catch the solar wind to push itself through space.

Artificial vision and the "kite and key" experiment: visual prosthetics for the blind

Article Abstract:

First-generation artificial-vision systems have proven successful and preliminary research indicates that 95% of the blind may be able to benefit. Patients who were totally blind with no light perception prior to receiving a visual prosthetic implant can once again see light, movement, and crude shapes of illuminated dots and blobs.
