Article Abstract:

A computer-assisted reporting survey helped assess discrepancies in land sale, causing immense hardships to low- and middle-income people in East St. Louis, MO. An evaluation of the Special Leadership Accounts reveals that the twin $12.3 million accounts are appropriated each year by the two party leaders and are used for the operation of the House Democratic and Republican caucuses.
