An action-packed year

Article Abstract:

A glimpse at the happenings in the television broadcasting industry during 2005 is presented. During the year, the broadcasting policy in United Kingdom fixed a firm date for transfer to digital technology from analogue technology. The television programs that dominated the screens during 2005 are also discussed. In particular, the television programs on C4 have been good throughout the year.
