BBC and Pact say WOCC can roll

Pact and British Broadcasting Corp. have reached an agreement on a new commissioning and competition framework, that includes Window of Creative Competition (WOCC) as an integral part. The WOCC will be introduced by September and will open up 25% of the BBC's output to external suppliers.

BBC is worst to deal with, say indies

Broadcast's annual indie survey has voted BBC as the worst broadcaster to deal with. The result is a blow to the BBC, which last year brought in Elaine Bedell as 'indie champion' to try and improve communication in all areas.
