BBC looks for US home for "Dr Who"

Article Abstract:

BBC is trying to distribute its "Doctor Who", a long-running television program, in America, without a long-term commitment. The only deal it has is with US DVD, which implies that BBC is, as yet, unsuccessful in finding a broadcaster willing to take up the sci-fi remake on said terms and conditions.

RDFI moves in on C4I's business

Article Abstract:

RDF International is talking to eight Channel 4 producers in an effort to create a "distribution club" in the United Kingdom. RDF is attempting to form the club haed of new legislation that will allow the holding of program rights by producers.
