BBC1's betting on festive Manor to make its day

Article Abstract:

BBC1 is known to dominate ratings on Christmas Day, and has a strong line-up for 2007 that includes "Doctor Who", "EastEnders", "Strictly Come Dancing Special", and "To the Manor Born." These shows will enter the ratings battle with ITV's "Coronation Street" and the film "Love Actually". The 2006 ratings and 2007 ratings forecasts for Christmas Day are given.
